a horrible attempt at reviewing an album

 today i sat and listened to a new(to me) album all the way through and did nothing else and i think that qualifies me to talk about it a little bit. i love pink floyd alot but i never listened to much of rogers solo stuff till recently. ive been listening to a ton of pros and cons of hitch hiking but today i sat and listened to radio kaos all the way and i liked it alot.

i see alot of people online say how its very dated and very 80s but i dont think that makes it bad. roger waters does new wave?!? how interesting. The (concept) album follows the story of billy, a boy in a wheelchair who can hear radiowaves (introduced in the first track). His brother, a coal miner is arrested for a crime he did not commit. Billy moves to california with his relatives. This is what i got just from listening to the album once over at least.

i love the concept of the album being a radio station. this is not at all a new concept to me, the whos "the who sells out" follows the same basic idea, but that focuses more on the pop art movement of the time and the death of pirate radio. just cool to notice ^_^;;

my favorite song is definitely track 2- who needs information

maybe i will do this more often.. i like to talk about music and i wanna listen to more concept albums !'
